There are three ways to update the order:

Using serial number

The update procedure will be applied to all products that are related to the serial number.

The license update order is generated for a specific serial number, so first it is necessary to determine the serial number.


  1. Define serial numbers.

    Select the Orders menu item.

    Click on the order line.

    On the order page, in the Serial number line, two links are displayed:

    Download [number] numbers — used to download a file with serial numbers;
    Copy to clipboard — used to copy serial numbers to the clipboard (use when there is only one serial number).

    Click on one of these links. As a result, the file with serial numbers will be saved on your computer or the serial numbers will be copied to the clipboard.

    Select the Orders menu item.

    Click Update license.

  2. Enter the serial number. 

    On the License Update page, a field for entering a serial number is displayed.

    Paste the serial number into this field (from the clipboard or from a file).

    In the table with the search results, click on the row with the serial number and click Update

  3. Enter the Obtaining period

    Obtaining Period — the period of time during which the customer can receive a license for the products specified in the order.

    By default, an unlimited period is selected (the unlimited switch is in the On position).

    To select a limited period, set the unlimited switch to the Off position and select the required dates in the date input fields.

    If the specified period has passed, it will not be possible to apply this license update on the customer computer.

  4. By default, Add-on Mode is enabled, please disable it if needed. 

    The add-on mode is suitable for two tasks:

    • extending or adding to a license;
    • rewriting a license.
  5. Enter CRM ID.
  6. Enter the comment text. 
  7. If you need to change settings for the product features that have already been added to this order, please follow the steps below.

    To change settings, in the Products section, click Change license restrictions.

    To change settings for product features, click the triangle to the left of the product name and select the necessary settings.

    In the row with the product you want to update, click Update license.

    If you want to update all features, click the Update all link.

    To cancel a product update, in the row with the feature, click the Cancel link.

  8. In the line of any product, click the Back to order link. 
  9. If you need to add a new product, please follow the steps below.

    If you want to add more than one product, they must have the same binding schemes, otherwise the system will display a notification that products with different binding schemes cannot be added to the order. 

    To add a product to your order, in the Products section, click Add Product.

    In the search bar, enter the product details.

    If the vendor selected the Allow to change parameters option when created the feature, then change the settings possibility is available for the feature.

    To change the settings for product features, click the triangle to the left of the product name and select the required settings.

    In the search results table, in the product row, click Add.

    If you need to remove a product, in the product row, click Cancel.

  10. In the line of any product, click the Back to order link. 
  11. Click Submit Order.

Using the order number

  1. Select the Orders menu item.
  2. Click on the order line.
  3. Click Update License.
  4. Enter the Obtaining period.

    Obtaining Period — the period of time during which the customer can receive a license for the products specified in the order.

  5. Enter CRM ID.

  11. In the line of any product, click the Back to order link. 
  12. Click Submit Order.

Using the customer name 

  1. Select the Customers menu item.
  2. Click on the line of the required customer.
  3. If you know the serial number, go to the Serial Numbers and Hardware Keys (dongles) tab.
    - enter the serial number in the search field and press Enter;
    - click Update in the line with the serial number;
    - on the License Update page, click Update in the line with the required serial number;
    - specify the required license information;
    - change the license settings if necessary (click Change license restrictions);
    - add a product (click Add product);
    - click Submit Order.
  4. If you know the order number, go to the Orders tab.
    - on the order page, click Update License;
    - specify the required license information;
    - change the license settings if necessary (click Change license restrictions);
    - add a product (click Add product);
    - click Submit Order.
